Ya Jagoff Moves To Friday Late Night Multiplatform Show On WLTJ

After airing weeknights on Steel City Media Hot AC “Q92.9” WLTJ Pittsburgh from 7-10pm since June 2022, YaJagoff! Media’s podcast “YaJagoff!” hosted by Rachael Rennebeck and John Chamberlin will move to a weekly live show on the station Fridays at 10pm starting on October 13.

The new “YaJagoff! Late Night” will air on WLTJ as well as Facebook and YouTube. The station previously had been airing repurposed clips from the podcast in the evening timeslot.

On Friday, October 13, 2023, at 10: 00 PM, YaJagoff! Media’s Rachael Rennebeck and John Chamberlin are set to fill the airwaves on Q92.9 FM and across multiple VIDEO channels for the premiere of their latest creation—YaJagoff! Late Night. The new weekly one-hour show, in partnership with Q92.9 FM in Pittsburgh, will stream over Facebook and YouTube and be simulcast on Q92.9 FM.

Rachael Rennebeck and John Chamberlin, who have entertained listeners as the on-air personalities of YaJagoff on Q for over 15 months, (M-F from 7 pm to 10 pm), worked closely with Q92.9 FM’s General Manager Gregg Frischling to transition their partnership into YaJagoff! Late Night. As Rachael explains, “We are basically ‘flipping the podcast equation.’ By shifting YaJagoff! on Q and the YaJagoff Podcast to YaJagoff! Late Night, we will expand our capabilities to bring our uniquely-Pittsburgh news and entertainment to a larger and more diverse audience.”

John Chamberlin is excited about the new format, stating, “The premiere of YaJagoff! Late Night is going to have Lucky Friday the 13th theme. We are fortunate to have loyal listeners, subscribers, and the local programming support that Q92.9 FM brings as partners in this.”

The YaJagoff! Podcast will record its long-running magazine format show at Steel City Media’s studio in the North Hills. YaJagoff! Late Night will offer upbeat news and views on everything from local music, events, to the unique Pittsburgh stories and interviews with the region’s dynamos and do-gooders (with an occasional nod to the ‘jagoffs’). The one-hour show will be formatted into a fully produced video for web and social media, plus clips from the show will air on Q92.9FM throughout the week. The jags are keeping their yinzer fingers on the pulse of Pittsburgh and serving up that content in multiple ways. Simple solution, ya jagoff!

Gregg Frischling noted, “We’re excited about the potential YaJagoff! Late Night offers as an entertainment concept, especially following the success of YaJagoff! on Q. As avid advocates for everything Pittsburgh, they bring fun, impactful conversation to the topics they cover.”
