WZTA will simulcast Brian Mudd’s morning show from sister 1290 WJNO West Palm Beach from 5-9am, and then replay it from 9am-12pm. The remainder of the lineup will feature syndicated talkers including Clay Travis & Buck Sexton from 12-3pm, Ben Shapiro from 3-4pm, Guy Benson 4-6pm, Mark Levin 6-9pm, Jesse Kelly 9pm-12am, Mike Knowles 12-1am, and Red Eye Radio overnight.
The move marks a return to Talk for the stations as they were known as “WAXE” until their flip to Oldies in July 2021.
iHeartMedia Treasure Coast announced today the debut of the new Newsradio 107.9 FM/1370 AM The Patriot, effective immediately. The new station will feature a combination of local, statewide and national news, along with local and national talk hosts.
Brian Mudd will simulcast his show, currently airing on 1290 WJNO-AM in West Palm Beach, along with Joel Malkin. “The Brian Mudd Show” will now add news and information for Vero Beach and the surrounding area daily. “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” debuted on Premiere Network in June 2021 as one of the biggest launches in talk radio history and is now heard on over 320 stations nationwide. They’ll bring Vero Beach the biggest stories in news, politics and current events with intelligence and humor.
“We’re excited to bring The Patriot to Vero Beach with local talk and news from ‘The Brian Mudd Show’ and some of the biggest names in national talk radio,” said Jason Carr, SVP Programming for iHeartMedia West Palm Beach & Treasure Coast. “The Patriot will super-serve the growing Vero Beach community, with the most up-to-date news, weather and sports updates, including sources like FOX News and the Florida News Network.”
