WWIZ Makes Its Annual Early Christmas Move

After being the first station to go all-Christmas the past two years, Cumulus Media Oldies “Z104” 103.9 WWIZ Middlesex PA/Youngstown OH did not meet reaching that accomplishment this year as it made its annual move to “Christmas 104” at 12:25 this afternoon.

WWIZ made its move with Percy Faith and His Orchestra’s “We Need a Little Christmas” as it plans to continue the holiday music through the end of the year.

WWIZ was the first the make the move to Christmas music in 2020 on September 25. WWIZ was also first in 2019, but did not make the switch to “Christmas 104” until October 25 that year. This year Great Eastern Radio’s pending acquisition 97.9 WXMS Au Sable NY/Burlington VT beat WWIZ by a few hours.
