With Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Philadelphia this weekend, Audacy CHR “96.5 TDY” WTDY-FM Philadelphia has gone all-Swift until Monday morning.
Branding as “Ninety-Swift-Five T-A-Y”, the stunt began at 9:00am today and will run for four straight days. The station will also be on-site at Swift’s shows at Lincoln Financial Field.
Audacy’s 96.5 TDY (WTDY-FM) in Philadelphia will celebrate Taylor Swift’s return to “Swiftadelphia” by renaming the station “Ninety-Swift-Five T-A-Y” from 9:00 a.m. ET on May 11 to 9:00 a.m. ET on May 15.
Fittingly, the station will play only Taylor Swift songs on the air during that time and change all station logos online and on social platforms to reflect “Taylor’s Hits.”
“It’s an exciting time for our stations as we welcome Taylor Swift back to Philadelphia,” said David Yadgaroff, senior vice president and market manager, Audacy Philadelphia. “TDY will celebrate this amazing weekend by showcasing Taylor in a special way. We can’t wait to turn TDY into T-A-Y, Taylor’s Hits!”
Additionally, WTDY-FM will be onsite at Lincoln Financial Field prior to each concert on May 12, 13 and 14, meeting listeners and celebrating Taylor’s music with “Taylor-oke” karaoke and a Taylor Swift photo booth, with props depicting each era from the tour. The station will also give listeners one last chance to win a pair of tickets through contesting onsite each day of the concert.
