Cumulus Media AC “B106.7” WTCB Orangeburg/Columbia SC will launch “The Midlands Morning Show” on Tuesday, January 7 featuring Kaylin Mozdzen and Leo ‘LB’ Baldwin.
Mozdzen, who will continue to also host middays from 11am-4pm, joined WTCB in January 2023 from Townsquare Media AC “Lite 98.7” WLZW Utica NY where she was Brand Manager and morning co-host. She began her career at WLZW in 2010 as a teenager. She later served as Traffic/Continuity Director for iHeartMedia Albany NY from 2016-18 before returning to Townsquare Utica as Production Director and spent time in afternoons and middays at WLZW before joining Dave Wheeler in mornings in January 2021 and promoted to Brand Manager in January 2022.
Baldwin joined Cumulus Columbia as PD of WTCB and Classic Hits “98.5 OMG” WOMG Lexington in June 2023 later adding on the cluster Operations Manager duties. He previously served as Operations/Brand Manager for Audacy Hot AC “Y98” KYKY and AC 102.5 KEZK St. Louis, Operations Manager for Hubbard West Palm Beach and PD of Hot AC 97.9 WRMF, Format Captain for Alpha Media’s AC and Hot AC stations, and programmed WHHH/WNOW-FM Indianapolis, WRDW-FM Philadelphia, and KQMQ and KDDB Honolulu.
Cumulus notes that the new show will be the first time the station will have a live and local morning show in seven years as it replaces former morning host Blake Powers, who did the show remotely.
