WREB Makes Giant Move From Hot AC To Classic Rock

3 Towers Broadcasting Company flipped one of its “Giant-FM” branded stations in Indiana from Hot AC to Classic Rock on April 1.

94.3 WREB Greencastle IN retains its previous branding as it shifted to a 70s/80s based Rock playlist with core artists including Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, The Steve Miller Band, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Operation Manager Tyson Conrady stated, “We are really excited about the format change, and we believe classic rock will be nice. We will continue to provide local content and information to Greencastle and all Putnam County communities”.

The Scott Huber and Johnny McCrory owned company owns “Giant FM” branded stations across western Indiana including Hot AC 92.1 WROI Rochester and Country 1520 WSVX/96.5 W243CL/106.3 W292FH Shelbyville. They lease Hot AC 1050 WTCA/106.1 W291BQ Plymouth and are in the process of purchasing Classic Country “The Legend” 910 WAKO/99.3 W257DW and AC “Lite Hits 103.1” WAKO-FM Lawrenceville IL/Vincennes IN and Classic Hits “Superhits 104.9” WAXI Rockville IN along with two real estate properties from DLC Media for $1,010,000.
