WPOZ Moves Dan Connors To Middays; Adds Paco Lopez For Nights

Z88.3 WPOZ Orlando Dean O'Neal Therese RomanoCentral Florida Educational Foundation Christian AC “Z88.3” WPOZ Orlando has announced changes to its lineup as Dan Connors moves from nights to middays and Paco Lopez joins as evening host.

Connors will fill the midday opening created by Denise Pagano’s departure at the end of 2022 to relocate with her husband’s job back to Houston. Prior to joining WPOZ in August 2020, he previously spent 30 years at CBS Radio/Audacy Orlando where he served as Commercial Production Director and previously was APD of Hot AC “Mix 105.1” WOMX. He also programmed “Fly MCO Radio” WOMX-HD2. Prior to coming to Orlando, Connors worked on-air at WCRJ and WAPE Jacksonville.

Lopez is well known in Orlando from his stints as morning host on Rhythmic CHR “102 Jamz” WJHM from 1997 to 2003 and midday host on Classic Hits “105.9 Sunny-FM” WOCL from 2011 to 2017. He also hosts G Networks’ syndicated Classic Hip Hop “Back In The Day Replay” and has held on-air and programming roles at stations across the country including WQHT and WNEW New York, WPGC Washington, KKFR Phoenix, KOAS Las Vegas, and WSNA Memphis.
