WPHM To Revamp Lineup For 2023

1380 WPHM Port HuronLiggett Communications News/Talk 1380 WPHM Port Huron MI will revamp its programming lineup as it heads into 2023.

Taking place over two phases, the first half will see the station move Markley, VanCamp, and Robbins up from 10pm-1am to 7-10pm in place of Our American Stories starting Monday, December 12. WPHM will add Fox Sports Radio’s “Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon” to the 10pm-1am timeslot, while Fox Sports Radio will also replace SportsMap Radio on Saturday evenings.

The next part will take place on Monday, January 16 with WPHM dropping Ramsey Media’s Ken Coleand and Dave Ramsey and Salem Media’s Hugh Hewitt from the schedule. Hewitt is currently heard from 10am-12pm, Coleman from 12-1pm and Ramsey from 1-3pm. The station has not yet announced what will be added to the weekday lineup with Program Director Caleb Gordon stating, “We look forward to bringing some younger, fresher news-talk personalities to our mid-day lineup come the new year.”

WPHM will continue to feature local morning host Paul Miller from 6-10am and syndicated host Tom Sullivan from 3-6pm.

Fresh off a 75th anniversary celebration, 1380 WPHM is announcing some lineup changes which will take place in two phases over the next several weeks.

The first round of changes take effect Monday, December 12th, with WPHM becoming an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio weeknights and Saturdays. The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon will now be heard from 10pm to 1am weeknights. Fox Sports Radio content will also be heard in place of Sports Map Radio on Saturdays. Markley, VanCamp, and Robbins will move to the 7-10pm timeslot Sunday-Friday.

“Our new relationship with Fox Sports will be a real compliment to the play-by-play sports we currently air on WPHM,” said Program Director Caleb Gordon. “I hope our listeners will notice an improvement in the quality of production and content by switching to Fox Sports.”

Phase two of WPHM’s programming changes will begin Monday, January 16th, 2023. After five years, Hugh Hewitt and Dave Ramsey’s programs will no longer be heard on the airwaves in the Port Huron area.

New programs in the 10am-Noon and Noon-3pm timeslots will be announced in January.
