247 Media Ministries has expanded its Contemporary Worship “Worship 24/7” brand into a third market with its launch on 102.3 K272EM/99.7 KBZD-HD2 Amarillo TX.
The launch is through a “strategic ministry partnership” with Radio by Grace, which owns the Amarillo signals. The translator had been rebroadcasting their primary Christian Preaching “Radio by Grace” network also heard in the Amarillo market on KBZD and 88.7 KRBG. “Worship 24/7” is also currently heard on 93.7 KURT Prineville OR and 104.9 KTDD Eatonville/Tacoma WA.
247 Media Ministries, the parent organization of the Worship 24/7 network, has reached an agreement to air its flagship Worship music format in Amarillo, Texas. The network will be heard on KBZD-HD2 and its translator on 102.3 FM. These new signals will increase the poten- tial reach of Worship 24/7 to over 2-million people across the United States.
This agreement is part of a strategic ministry partnership with Radio by Grace, a teaching/talk net- work heard in 22 states on 74 signals.
“It started with a simple phone call that led to many other calls. Many prayers later, we are extreme- ly excited that the Lord has opened the door for both Radio By Grace and Worship 24/7 to introduce this format to Amarillo,” said Tim Cardascia, Director of Marketing and Programming for Radio By Grace.
“It is very exciting to add our first signal outside the Pacific Northwest.,” says David Harms, President of 24/7 Media Ministries. “God keeps opening doors and we will continue to walk through them as He leads.”
Worship 24/7 began broadcasting in Amarillo on Monday, March 28th and joins KURT-FM in Central Oregon, KTDD-FM in the South Puget Sound area, and an online listening community representing 180 countries.
