Chisholm Trail Broadcasting has rebranded Classic Country “99.7 Hank-FM” KNAH Mustang/Oklahoma City OK as “99.7 The Wolf“.
Positioning as “Oklahoma Country” and emphasizing on music from the 1990s, the station is pulling much of its inspiration including logo, imaging and positioning from Cumulus Media’s 99.5 KPLX Dallas. The station will continue to feature Bill Reed in mornings, Big JD in middays and Joe Friday in afternoons.
The station continues to compete against iHeartMedia’s “96.1 KXY” KKXY for the Classic Country audience in Oklahoma City.
KNAH had utilized the “Hank-FM” brand licensed from Kroeger Media since it flipped to Classic Country in September 2013.
