Saga Communications has flipped Classic Rock “96.5 The Mill” WMLL Bedford/Manchester NH to Country “96.5 Live Free Country“.
Positioning as “Continuous Country Without The Static”, the new format takes aim at Townsquare Media’s 97.5 WOKQ Portsmouth, Binnie Media’s “93.3 The Wolf” WNHW Belmont/Concord and the Boston Country stations, which all are heard in portions of the Manchester and Nashua markets. WMLL is launching its new format with 5,000 songs commercial-free.
Pat Mckay, Brand Manager/afternoon host at sister AC 95.7 WZID, is listed as Brand Manager for the new format. Saga also owns Classic Country “The Outlaw” 103.1 W276BJ Concord, 106.9 W295BL Manchester, and WZID-HD3.
