Beasley Media Classic Hip Hop “105.1 The Bounce” WMGC Detroit is seeking a new morning host to join Shannon Bomia as ‘Zannie K’ Glover has exited the station. Glover joined WMGC and sister Adult R&B “105.9 Kiss-FM” WDMK as Program Director in November 2020. He added morning host duties in April 2021 with Bomia joining him the following month. Glover previously served as PD at Adult R&B 89.9 KMOJ and Classic Hip Hop “105 The Vibe” WGVX Minneapolis, APD/afternoon host at “B96” KTTB, APD/night host for Westwood One’s Classic Hip Hop format, and on-air at 101.3 KDWB.
With Glover’s exit, Beasley is restructuring the position to focus mostly on the morning show as Detroit Director of Programming Scott Jameson will add oversight of WMGC and WDMK to his duties programming Classic Rock 94.7 WCSX and serving as VP/National Content. The job posting does note that PD or APD experience is a plus to assist elsewhere as needed.
