Sand Mountain Broadcasting has flipped “Fox Sports 102.9” WKXX Attalla/Gadsden AL to Classic Country.
Branding under its frequency and call letters, the station is positioning as “Alabama’s Country Classics” as a flanker to sister Country 105.1 WQSB. Shane Wilson, who had been hosting nights on WQSB, will move to mornings on WKXX marking a return to the station as he previously hosted mornings at then Hot AC “Mix 102.9” prior to its 2020 flip to Sports.
