Another iHeartMedia talent is moving to a new role as part of the company’s ongoing restructuring.
News/Talk 570 WKBN Youngstown late morning host Dan Rivers will no longer host a daily program after Wednesday, November 27. Rivers will return to the station in the new year launching a local podcast, serving as fill-in for afternoon host Ron Verb, and continue to serve as a spokesperson for local businesses. The 76-year-old Rivers has been at WKBN since 1981 and has hosted the late-morning show since 1999.
The station is planning an open house on his final day on-air to celebrate Rivers.
