El Sol Broadcasting has utilized the launch of a second translator to debut Smooth Jazz “The New 102.5” on 1460 WJTI West Allis/102.5 W273DQ Milwaukee.
W273DQ signed-on the week before Christmas with Smooth Jazz based Christmas music before launching its new identity on 12/26. WJTI is positioning as “Smooth & More”.
To allow WJTI to utilize its new translator, which is permanently tied to the AM from the 2018 filing window, the station’s former Regional Mexican “Caliente 97.9” programming still heard on W250BN West Allis is now being fed by Audacy’s 99.1 WMYX-HD3.
