Magnum Media has flipped Classic Hits 1470 WIBD/101.3 W267CL West Bend WI to Classic Rock.
Now operating as “We Rock You” under new WRYU call letters, the station has also added a second translator with 93.9 W230DJ Cedarburg (which previously operated on 104.5 rebroadcasting sister “Buzz Country 92.5” WMBZ). The two signals cover Milwaukee’s northern suburbs.
The new format will feature Bill Mitchell in mornings from 6-10am. Mitchell is also heard on other Magnum stations including mornings on Classic Rock 94.5 WTMB Tomah and Country “Kix 106.5” WKCH Whitewater and 8-10am on WMBZ. He previously hosted mornings on the former 92.5 WBWI West Bend. Dylan Ayer will host afternoons. She is also heard on Magnum’s 102.7 WKBH La Crosse and tracks for stations across the country after former stints at KJOT Boise, KMHK Billings and elsewhere.
