The new format places WHLL up against Full Power Radio’s “Bomba 104.5” 1490 WSPR/W283CK. Candy Cintron, Brand Manager of “El Zol 107.9” WLZL Bowie MD/Washington DC, adds those duties for WHLL as well.
WSPR is currently sixth in the Springfield market with a 3.9 share in the July 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings, but was as high as third with a 6.2 share in May. WHLL had a mere 0.2 share in July.
