WHHL Morning Co-Host Brittish Williams Pleads Guilty To Bank, Insurance, Tax and Pandemic Relief Fraud.

The AP reports that Williams had admitted to to five counts of misuse of a Social Security number, four counts of bank fraud, three counts of making false statements to the IRS and three counts of wire fraud. She had been indicted in 2021 on counts that included under-reporting her income on tax returns for 2017-2019, falsely claiming a niece and nephew as dependents, not filing taxes in 2021-23, fraudulently using Social Security numbers not assigned to her to open accounts with credit card companies and banks, depositing checks taken from other peoples’ accounts without their knowledge, submitting fake medical bills, and multiple pandemic loan fraud charges including submitting nine applications for Economic Injury Disaster Loans, four applications for the Paycheck Protection Program, and one application to a rent relief program in California.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on August 23 and faces penalties of up to 30 years in prison for the bank fraud charges, 20 years for the wire fraud charges, and up to five years each for the five charges of misusing a Social Security number. She also faces up to $3.25 million in fines.

Williams, who also appeared on two seasons of the reality show “Basketball Wives”, joined WHHL in July 2022 to launch “The Home Team” alongside Shorty Da Prince and Andrew Caldwell. Audacy knew of her indictment at the time of her hiring.
