Max Media has brought Fox Sports Radio programming back to Norfolk/Virginia Beach with today’s flip of “Money Talk 1310” WGH/100.9 W265EF Newport News and 94.1 WVSP-HD2.
“Fox Sports 1310” brings the network back to the market following Sinclair Communications dropped the network to flip 850 WTAR Norfolk and translators 96.5 W243EK Hampton and 96.5 W243DJ Norfolk to Hot AC “Lucy-FM” at the start of September 2022. WGH joins “ESPN Radio 94.1” WVSP in Max Media’s Norfolk cluster.
WGH-AM named for the “World’s Greatest Harbor” nearly 100 years ago has changed its’ uniform to “Fox Sports Radio 1310”. Starting today, Hampton Road’s newest all-sports station can be heard on 1310 AM, 100.9 FM, WVSP HD2, and streamed 24-7 on FoxSportsRadio1310.com.

Dino Franza will be calling the plays as the Brand Manager for the newly launched station. “For the last 30+ I’ve been with WGH 1310 the station has gone through many different formats and I could not be more excited to being sports back to WGH”, said Franza.
Fox Sports Radio 1310’s ALL-STAR talent line-up includes The Dan Patrick Show (M-F 9am-12pm), The Herd with Colin Cowherd (M-F 12pm-3pm), and The Doug Gottlieb Show (M-F 3pm-5pm).
Max Media’s Norfolk-Virginia Beach-Newport News properties include Country WGH-FM (97.3 The Eagle), AC WTWV (92.9 The Wave), Urban Adult Hits WVBW (100.5 The Vibe), WVSP (ESPN Radio 94.1) and WVSP-HD2 (Money Talk).
