Wes McKane Joins KS95 As Ryan Roos Departs After Two Decades

Hubbard Radio Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM St. Paul/Minneapolis MN has announced that Wes McKane will join Adam ‘Crisco’ Zalusky and Dez Young in mornings starting Monday, April 8.

McKane will succeed Ryan Roos on the KSTP-FM morning show. A Twin Cities native, McKane most recently hosted mornings at Alpha Media Hot AC 102.3 WXLC Waukegan WI from 2019 until March 2023. He spent eleven years in mornings at CHR “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS Milwaukee from 2004 until moving to sister Hot AC “99.1 The Mix” WMYX from 2015-17. McKane previously worked in the market hosting nights at CHR 101.3 KDWB in the early 2000s.

Roos will depart the station on Friday, March 29 after 20 years with the station. He, Zalusky, and Young have been teamed in mornings since November 2016. He had hosted nights at the station before moving to mornings in 2011. He has been working on developing a cold therapy device for knee replacement patients.

KSTP-FM Brand Manager Mat Mitchell stated, “After a nationwide search of America’s best talent to join Crisco and Dez on one of the best morning shows in America, we found a guy who grew up on the east side of St. Paul. We could not be more pleased to welcome Wes McKane back to his hometown!”

McKane commented, “Man, the kids I grew up with on the east side of St. Paul are going to be shocked when they hear one of their own on the best station in the Twin Cities. I feel truly blessed to come and dominate alongside Crisco and Dez! Thank you so much to Mat, Dan, Greg and the whole rest of the team I have already met for welcoming me! I look forward to doing great things with all of them along with the so many others I haven’t met yet! Let’s hit the ground running fast and do amazing things together on KS95! I’m coming home Minnesota!”
