Wendy Rollins Joins WXPN

University of Pennsylvania AAA 88.5 WXPN Philadelphia has announced the addition of Wendy Rollins to its airstaff as a weekend and fill-in host.

Rollins previously served as APD/midday host at iHeartMedia Alternative “Radio 104.5” WRFF from its launch in 2007 until moving to iHeart’s “Alt 105.7” WRDA Atlanta in 2016. She remained at WRDA until iHeartMedia’s January 2020 layoffs. During her tenure with the company she also tracked at many of iHeart’s other Alternative stations. Before her first tenure in Philadelphia, Rollins programmed Alternative 100.9 KRZQ Reno, was APD at “96 Wave” WAVF Charleston and “Wave 104” WYAV Myrtle Beach, and worked on-air in New Bern NC and Atlanta.

Rollins’ first shift at WXPN will be on Saturday, November 13 from 10am-2pm.
