WBEE Seeking New Morning Coffee Club Members As Terry Clifford Plans To Retire And Chris Konya To Depart

92.5 WBEE-FM RochesterAudacy Country 92.5 WBEE Rochester NY is seeking two people to join its “Morning Coffee Club” as both Terry Clifford and Chris Konya intend to depart later this year.

Clifford has been with WBEE since the late 1980s mostly as part of the morning show outside of a move to middays from 2015 to 2019. She has spent the majority of her career in Rochester with previous stints at 92.5 WMJQ and 98.9 WKLX prior to joining WBEE. Clifford intends to retire later this year.

Konya joined the station in September 2020 after previous stints as morning show producer at sister “98.9 The Buzz” WBZA Rochester from 2013 until 2019 and hosting nights at CHR 97.9 WPXY. He has also served as an associate producer for Scott Shannon & Todd Pettingill at WPLJ New York and operated a local podcast network. He will step down from the station when his contract ends for opportunities outside of the radio industry.

While co-host TJ Sharp will remain with the show, Audacy is beginning the search for new members of the morning show.
