Cox Media Group CHR 95.1 WAPE Jacksonville FL has appointed Caitlin Fisher as its new APD/afternoon host.
Fisher, a Jacksonville area native, joins WAPE from Cox Country “K95.5” KWEN Tulsa where she has spent the past three and a half years as part of the “Cait & Bradley” morning show alongside Matt Bradley. She will continue to be heard on the station tracking middays as well as nights on sister Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KRAV. She also currently tracks middays on WAPE. Prior to joining KWEN, Fisher started her career with multiple roles at Cox Athens GA including middays on Country 106.1 WNGC, nights on AC “Magic 102.1” WGMG, and newscaster on Conservative Talk 1340/98.7 WGAU.
Fisher fills the opening created by Justin Cousart’s move from APD/afternoon host to the role of Promotions and Activations Manager for Cox Jacksonville and evening host on WAPE in August.
