Volunteers wanted to help run the Radio Academy Festival 2022

The Radio Academy is seeking volunteers to contribute to the 2022 Radio Academy Festival.

Opportunities are available for Event Co-ordinators and Session Producers and the Academy is inviting expressions of interest from people who would like to volunteer.

Event Co-ordinators help keep the Festival moving smoothly, by supporting the production of Festival content, and the logistics of the event.

Volunteers’ contributions would include supporting speakers and producers, helping with stage production or presentations, stewarding and helping with check-ins, and responding to delegate queries. Co-ordinators will work half the day, and enjoy watching sessions for the other half.

Session Producers put together specific Festival sessions, working with the Festival Execs and the event’s speakers and panellists. They shape sessions from early ideas into clear editorial propositions, preparing presenters and speakers, and any necessary supporting AV content.

Producers will do most of their work in the weeks building up to the Festival, and will attend the Festival to ensure their sessions run smoothly.

Meals and local transport expenses will be provided for volunteers, and full details can be found on The Radio Academy website, including how to apply.
