600 WSJS 93.7 101.5 103.1 104.9 Greensboro Winston-SalemTruth Broadcasting Conservative Talk/Sports 600 WSJS Winston-Salem NC is off the air after vandals destroyed two of its four towers.

Owner Stu Epperson Jr. wrote on Facebook, “Today has been one of the toughest days of my broadcasting life…someone has destroyed several of our towers. Criminal investigation is underway. FBI is involved -since it’s a federal crime. Can’t share details…but please PRAY…for the person responsible to come to faith in Christ, for law enforcement and for our team as they rush to get us back on the air.”

Truth Broadcasting purchased WSJS in December 2021 for $600,000. The AM currently is heard on a network of four translators in the region: 93.7 W229CH Greensboro, 101.5 W268CG Winston-Salem, 103.1 W276DS Winston-Salem, and 104.9 W285EU High Point. 101.5 W268CG is currently off the air as well as it originates from WSJS’ site. The other three are currently originating their own programming with WSJS off.

In lucky timing, the FCC approved WSJS’s application today to triplex at the site of co-owned 1340 WPOL Winston-Salem and Blue Ridge Broadcasting’s 1500 WSMX Winston-Salem. WSJS would drop from its current directional 5kW day and night utilizing a four tower array to a non-directional 1.7kW day and 110 watts night.
