Vallisa Chauhan is to host a Saturday morning show and Sunday evening show on BBC Asian Network from 20th April.
On Saturdays from 11am – 2pm, Vallisa will play music from the world of Bollywood and the UK, with tracks from British Asian artists and the station’s playlist. Then, from 2pm – 3pm she will host the Asian Network Certified Throwbacks hour.
Sundays 9pm – 10pm, she will host Asian Network Bollywood followed at 10pm with an hour of Asian Network’s Global Beats.
Vallisa joins from Lyca Radio, where she has worked since 2021 and hosted the Breakfast Show. She started her radio career in 2010 and has since a well-known Bollywood DJ in the UK.
