Two Longtime Station Vets Depart WHUD

100.7 WHUD Peekskill Hudson ValleyCluster OM Steve Petrone and APD/MD/midday host Tom Furci have departed Pamal Broadcasting AC 100.7 WHUD Peekskill NY.

Petrone had been with WHUD since 1975 starting as a part-time host before rising to OM/PD in 1980. He would rise to Station Manager in 1984 and serve as General Manager from 1986 until its 1992 sale to Pamal. He would move to serve as VP/Operations & Programming for Pamal’s Hudson Valley cluster as it grew to six stations, while also serving as WHUD’s Program Director.

Curci has served as midday host at WHUD since joining the station in 1993 adding Music Director duties in 1997. He previously spent eleven years in multiple roles including Program Director at 1310 WVIP/106.3 WVIP-FM Mount Kisco NY and prior stints at WALL Middletown and WOR New York.

Scotty Mac, who has programmed Pamal CHR “K104” WSPK Poughkeepsie since 1999 and has been with the station since 1991, will add operations and programming oversight of WHUD.

Morning co-host Kacey Morabito-Grean is also now listed in the midday slot at WHUD.
