TuneIn wins Gold at the American Business Awards

TuneIn has won Gold for Company of the Year in Media & Entertainment at the 20th Annual American Business Awards.

“We’re honored to receive this prestigious award as our team has worked hard over the past year to bring our best-in-class, disruptive and innovative streaming audio solution to broadcasters, partners and listeners worldwide,” said Richard Stern, CEO of TuneIn.

“We look forward to continuing our global growth and maintaining the momentum we’ve achieved as we look ahead and plan for the future, reinventing radio for a connected, digital world.”

More than 230 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners. Some of their comments about TuneIn include:

“Having access to listen to live sports, non-stop music, podcasts and breaking news by tuning in to one radio app seems very convenient. The bonus feature of accessing radio instantly through smart speakers or smartphones is commendable.”

“Tunein seems to be well positioned to take the audio market in the long term. With the increase in podcasting and apps like Clubhouse that help people focus more on audio content, more and more people are going to move towards on-demand radio and on-demand audio content that’s educational and engaging.”
