After flipping 101.7 KLTD Temple/Killeen TX from Regional Mexican “La Grande 101.7” to Spanish Adult Hits “Juan 101.7” in late June, Townsquare Media also flipped Regional Mexican “La Mejor 94.7” KVLL-FM Wells/Lufkin TX to the Santos Latin Media 24/7 format.
The launch of “Juan 94.7” gives Townsquare its third ‘Juan’ station nationally joining KLTD and “Juan 95.7” 1390 WEOK Poughkeepsie NY. It also mean that the format is responsible for three of the four Spanish language stations owned by the company with Tejano 106.9 KLUB Bloomington/Victoria TX being the exception.
KVLL-FM had flipped from AC “My 94.7” to Regional Mexican in February 2020.
