Topeka Receives A Hot AC Pulse

Pulse Radio 96.9 KOZA TopekaJustin Fluke’s Many Signals Communications has closed on its $670,000 purchase of Hip Hop/R&B “96.9 The Beat” KQRB Effingham/Topeka KS and launched Hot AC “96.9 Pulse Radio” KOZA on Monday.

Fluke told MSC News, “Not only will the HOT AC format be a unique addition to our existing group of local stations, but it will be a music format currently not offered in the Topeka/Lawrence markets. We are thrilled to take on the title of being the only locally owned radio station in the Capitol City!”

The station will carry Compass Media Networks’ “Anna & Raven” in mornings from 5-10am and feature news, weather and sports updates from WIBW-TV at points throughout the day.

The new format positions KOZA between Great Plains Media CHR “105.9 Kiss-FM” KKSW and Cumulus Media AC “Majic 107.7” KMAJ-FM in the market.
