Cox Media Group Soft AC “Easy 102.9” WEZI Jacksonville has announced the arrival of Toni Foxx as morning host.
Foxx spent two decades in mornings at iHeartMedia Country 99.1 WQIK Jacksonville until being part of the company’s layoffs last June. She also hosted a show for TEGNA’s WTLV-TV from 2014-2017.
She fills the opening created by Abby Murphy’s move to the syndicated Bert Show last month.
Easy 102.9 (WEZI) today announced that Toni Foxx will be its new morning show host. Foxx is a seasoned radio and TV personality with over a decade of experience in the broadcasting industry.
Over her stellar career, Foxx has worked at various radio stations in Virginia, Ohio and Florida. During her time as a radio morning show host, Foxx also hosted a TV show for Tegna Broadcasting in Jacksonville from 2014 to 2017. Most recently, Foxx was the morning show co-host for almost 20 years at competitor WQIK.
