Tommy Castor Rises To Audacy Wichita VP/Sales

Audacy has announced the appointment of Tommy Castor as Vice President of Sales for its Wichita KS cluster.

Castor first joined the company’s Sports 1240 KFH/97.5 K248CY last August as co-host of “Sports Daily” from 9-11am alongside Jacob Albracht. He will continue in that role in addition to his new duties.

Castor also most recently served as VP/Ticket Sales & Marketing for the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder and running digital ad agency AMP Digital Innovations. He previously spent much of his career in programming including a decade as PD of iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 96.3” KZCH, was GM/PD of Rocking M Media’s Wellington KS stations, and COO of Allied Media Partners and their failed attempt to acquire Rocking M’s six station cluster in the Wichita market.

Audacy Wichita announces Tommy Castor as new VP of Sales for the market.

“Tommy has an incredible knowledge of the digital space that will help take our revenue to the next level,” said Becky Domyan, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Wichita. “He has an energy and enthusiasm that is contagious.”

Castor is a 20-year veteran in the radio industry, starting his career with then-Entercom Wichita in 2005. He then spent 10 years with Clear Channel/iHeartMedia in Wichita, including over six years as a program director. After departing iHeart in 2018, Castor owned a digital advertising agency called AMP Digital Innovations and, most recently, was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ECHL hockey team Wichita Thunder. Castor also currently serves as the co-host of “Sports Daily” on KFH Radio in Wichita.

Castor succeeds Lisa Crider, who recently retired. His headshot is attached.
