Following his “retirement” from mornings after 37 years at Cumulus Classic Rock 92.5 KQRS Minneapolis, Tom Barnard will join Hubbard to launch a daily streaming morning show.
The new show will air from 7-10am weekdays with live video airing on YouTube, social channels, and a soon-to-launch app starting in early February with archived podcasts publishing immediate after airing. In an internal memo making the announcement, Hubbard Radio Minnesota VP/Market Manager Dan Seeman wrote, “Our business is changing. More and more people are listening and watching their favorite shows on streaming and on-demand platforms. “The Tom Barnard Morning Show Podcast is the natural evolution in Tom’s legendary career.” Barnard began his career at Hubbard’s 1500 KSTP Minneapolis hosting nights in the early 1970s.
