He also spent fourteen years at Clear Channel holding multiple roles including Operations Manager in Dallas and Philadelphia, Program Director of WNCI Columbus, CHR Brand Manager, and Regional Vice President of Programming between 1994 and 2010.

Shannon stated, “When Dan flipped the format on the main signal to indie in July ‘22, engagement with the students increased tenfold. After meeting with the various student employees of the stations, I was so encouraged to see a genuine interest in all facets of radio and look forward to coaching the next generation of broadcasters at UNT.”

KNTU General Manager Dan Balla added, “I was looking for someone who recognized the potential of the new and fast-growing 88.1 indie brand in DFW. We share the same philosophy about radio and what we can do to make KNTU special. Todd brings an incredible background and wealth of knowledge to a unique situation.”
