Alpha Media has announced the appointment of Tim Spence as Director of Sports Operations for “San Antonio’s Sports Star” 94.1 KTFM Floresville/1250 KZDC San Antonio.
Spence most recently served in the triple role of Program Director of iHeartMedia’s Talk 630 KHOW Denver and News/Talk 600 KCOL Fort Collins CO, APD of News/Talk 850/94.1 KOA Denver and Affiliate Relations Director for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos networks until exiting as part of that company’s cuts in June. He also programmed iHeart’s Talk and Sports stations in Hartford and New Haven CT and spent 15 years as PD of Sports “104.3 The Fan” KKFN-FM and predecessor 950 KKFN Denver from 1995 to 2005 and Operations Manager at “Front Range Sports Network” from 2010 to 2014.
Alpha Media San Antonio announces Tim Spence as the new Director of Sports Operations for KTFM/KZDC, San Antonio Sports Star, 94.1 FM, 1250 AM. The dual signal is the Largest Sports Radio station in South and Central Texas.
Previously, Spence was Program Director for KHOW, KCOL, and APD for KOA in Denver, where he additionally served as affiliate relations manager for the 140 station radio network for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.

The new role will include day to day station operations, programming, and affiliations with strong sports brands in the state of Texas. Spence is set to begin November 1st.
