Steel City Media Hot AC “Q92.9” WLTJ Pittsburgh has parted ways with morning host Tim Murphy.
Murphy joined WLTJ in October 2019 after four years in mornings at iHeartMedia CHR “Star 104” 103.7 WRTS Erie PA. He also co-hosted mornings at “Y101” WYOY Jackson MS from 2009 to 2015.
Murphy told PBRTV.com, “The pandemic definitely didn’t help me get a foothold,” while also stating other obstacles including being the only morning host in the market that hadn’t been there for at least a decade.
The station has yet to set plans for the daypart.
