Extra Mile Media Christian AC “Hope 107.9” KHPE Albany/Eugene OR has announced the appointment of Tami Rumfelt as Program Director.
Rumfelt most recently has been tracking shifts for “Christian Family Radio” in Kentucky and “Worship 24/7” in addition to her voiceover business. She has previously hosted afternoons at Audacy Country “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW Greensboro NC and spent fifteen years in that timeslot at Christian AC 89.3 WBFJ-FM Greensboro from 2004-19. Earlier in her career, she worked at Dick Broadcasting’s WKRR and WKZL Greensboro.
Extra Mile Media is pleased to announce the appointment of TAMI RUMFELT as the new Program Director for radio station Hope 107.9 FM (KHPE-FM). She has been serving in the radio industry for over twenty years including time spent as a freelance fundraising host and on-air talent. Tami has been heard on multiple radio outlets and formats including Country, Adult Contemporary, and Christian Adult Contemporary.

With both a 50+ year legacy of serving the community, and a team of people passionate about creating new ways to deliver the HOPE of Jesus to the Willamette Valley, it’s an incredible moment to be a part of this ministry. I’m honored to have been entrusted with this role,” Rumfelt said.
As the Program Director for Hope 107.9 FM, Tami will guide on-air and promotion team members in creating quality content and engagement designed to further reach the communities of Eugene, Salem and Corvallis with the hope found in Jesus.

I believe she will be a key part of what God has planned for Hope 107.9 in the coming days,” said General Manager, Scott Michaels.
Tami Rumfelt will relocate to the Willamette Valley of Oregon as soon as possible and has already started her work with Extra Mile Media.
