Christian Ministries of the Valley will acquire Andres Bichara’s Bi-Media’s Spanish CHR “Ultra 104.9” KJAV Alamo/McAllen TX for $1.45 million. The Bichara family also owns stations in Monterrey and Tijuana in Mexico.

Educational Media Foundation will purchase 104.9 WYGC High Springs/Gainesville FL from JVC Media. The sale contract was inadvertently omitted from the FCC filing. EMF’s “K-Love” is currently heard in Gainesville on 88.7 W204BL.

Roger Bouldin’s Bouldin Radio continues to grow with two acquisitions. Bouldin first purchases Silent 1140 WXLZ St. Paul and Country 107.3 WXLZ-FM Lebanon VA from Yeary Broadcasting for $60,000. Seller David Lannis Yeary will continue to own the station’s studio building and the FM tower and will lease them to Bouldin.

Bouldin also agrees to purchase Southern Gospel “Praise-FM” 103.9 WNRJ Vienna WV from Fellowship Baptist Church of Vienna for $380,000. Bouldin will convert the station back to commercial status. Roger Bouldin owns three other stations and serves as Corporate General Manager of Bristol Broadcasting and their 31 stations in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Guest Technology & Brokerage served as broker of the deal.

Lightner Communications buys Soft AC “Easy Favorites” 1230 WCRO/102.9 W275CV Johnstown PA from the Greater Johnstown School District for $16,000. Lightner has operated WCRO via Time Brokerage Agreement since October 2018 and also owns Variety Hits “101.3 Jack-FM” W267CM Johnstown originating on Zip2’s 850 WKGE Johnstown.

Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna San Antonio acquires the Construction Permit for a Class C3 on 91.9 Gonzales TX from Texas Public Radio as part of a settlement agreement to solve an mutually exclusive conflict. CCVESA will withdraw their application for 88.9 Runge TX in order for Texas Public Radio to be granted a CP for 88.9 Gonzales.

Translator Sales

Avondale Metal Works acquires 92.7 W224CK Vestavia Hills/Birmingham AL from La Promesa Foundation. The sale terms were also omitted from this deal. W224CK currently is operated by iHeartMedia as the Birmingham affiliate of the Black Information Network via 102.5 WDXB-HD2 Pelham.
