Sale Dismissals

Baaz Broadcasting Corp. has failed to close on its $850,000 purchase of the former Brokered Ethnic “Multicultural 1600” KGST Fresno and $300,000 purchase of Spanish Sports “Tu Liga Radio” 1490 KWAC Bakersfield from Lotus Broadcasting. The Mohan Cheema and Sukhdev Singh Dhillon led company agreed to purchase the stations last August and began operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement in February as part of their South Asian “Radio Punjab” network. An extension filed with the FCC in March noted that Baaz needed additional time to obtain the full financing needed to consummate the transaction.
