Station Sales Week of 5/19: La Invasora Launches In Midland/Odessa

La Invasora 94.7 KTXO Goldsmith Odessa MidlandThe Campbell Craft Company LLC sells 94.7 KTXO Goldsmith/Odessa TX to Manuel Herrera’s La Hacienda Entertainment, Inc. for $250,000. La Hacienda Entertainment began operating the station via a $5,000 per-month LMA on April 23 assuming the lease from Daniel Melendez’s Aldama Media Broadcasting and flipping the station to Regional Mexican “La Invasora 94.7“. The station had been simulcasting Classic Country 1330 KCKM Monahans.

Cynthia Rankin will purchase the five stations in Eagle Pass and Uvalde TX that ceased operations in June 2022. Rankin will pay $1.4 million for the former “Tejano y Mas 1270” KEPS and Hot AC “Power 92.7” KINL Eagle Pass and Hot AC “Hits 93.9” KBNU, “Tejano y Mas 102.3” KUVA, and “Coyote Country 104.9” KVOU-FM Uvalde to acquire the stations from Francisco Javier Navarro’s Roca Radio LLC and South Texas Radio LLC. Navarro closed on his acquisition of the licenses from Moises Abraham Gonzalez last month for $200. As part of the deal, Rankin will pay $5,000 per month from August 1 until either May 1, 2025 or making the last payment of the purchase price for studio rent with the stations needing to resume operations by June 29.
