Station Sales Week of 5/17: Townsquare Sells Upstate New York Trio

Townsquare MediaTownsquare Media has found a buyer for the three upstate New York FMs it turned off at the end of 2023.

The former CHR 97.5 WTBD-FM Delhi and Classic Rock simulcast “The Eagle” 94.7 WIYN Deposit/100.3 WDHI Delhi/Oneonta will be sold to Family Life Ministries for $150,000. The three signals will convert to non-commercial status as part of Family Life’s Christian network.

Nortfield Media sells Full Service AAA “The One” 1080 KYMN/95.1 K236CO Northfield MN to Rich and Ann Larson for $235,000. Rich Larson, who has served as KYMN News Director since 2020, will immediately begin operating the station via LMA.

Richard Edwards’ Dickenson County Broadcasting Corp. sells 92.1 WDIC Clinchco VA to Majestic Mountain Broadcasting Inc. for $185,000. WDIC went silent in February for lack of financial viability.

New Hope Baptist Church – Roswell sells its CP for 88.1 KNHO Roswell NM to American Christian Radio for $1. The buyer also holds a CP for 88.7 KYAS Artesia NM.

Translator Sales

Peter and John Radio Fellowship sells 100.1 W261AE Millington MD to Hometown Multimedia for $15,000. The Brian Moore led buyer owns Classic Hits 1530 WCTR/106.9 W295CJ Chestertown, which will also be heard on W261AE.

Voice for Christ Ministries donates 94.3 K232DJ Perryville AK to Alaska Village Ministries.
