Barefoot Radio 104.9 WXKW Key WestJames Day’s 104.9 WXKW Key West FL is being restructured into Sunny Days Radio LLC as Kevin Redding acquires a 50% stake in the station for $70,000. Day purchased WXKW in April 2021 for $61,831.08. The station relaunched in February as “104.9 Barefoot Radio” dropping its previous “The X” brand.

Carpenter Broadcasting continues its rapid expansion in far-northeastern Minnesota with the purchase of Multi-Cultural Diversity Radio’s 92.7 WZBY Grand Portage for $3000. The company is in the process of purchasing AAA “95.3 The Otter” WFNX Grand Marais and hold a construction permit for 96.9 in Grand Marais.

After launching Liberal Talk “The Sha 101 FM” 540 WAUK Jackson/101.1 W266DR Waukesha/Milwaukee at the start of of the year, Mike Krute’s WAUK Radio LLC purchases the stations from Good Karma Brands for $650,000. Crute also leases Liberal Talk “Devil Radio 92.7” 1580 WTTN Columbus/92.7 W224EG Madison WI

George Flinn sells Christian Rock “97.5 The Quake” KPAK Alva OK to Thane Conriocht and Mark Harcourt’s Running Wolf Radio for $50,000. The station has been operated by Stateline Broadcasting via Time Brokerage Agreement since 2017.

One Ministries sells Christian Rock “Broken-FM” 88.7 KORB Hopland and translators 89.5 K208GA Santa Rosa, 91.5 K218EN Santa Rosa, 103.1 K276FY Santa Rosa, and 101.3 K267BA Ukiah CA to the Jennifer Sprenger led KFAITH for $295,000.

Vic Michael’s Mountain Community Translators acquires 96.3 K242CI Casper WY from Radio By Grace for $10,500. K242CI will rebroadcast Michael’s Cedar Cove Broadcasting’s “K-Rocky” 88.7 KRKY-FM Douglas WY.
