Paul Dupuis’ Codin Broadcasting acquires Stony Creek Broadcasting’s Classic Hits “Star 97.7” WNSX Winter Harbor ME for $665,000. Dupuis has served as General Sales Manager and morning host at the stations since 2016 after previously holding on-air and programming roles at multiple Bangor area stations since 1994. The deal includes a three-year non-compete and non-solicitation agreement for seller Mark Osborne’s advertising agency.

Steve Clendenin’s Maryland Media One completes the sell-off of its assets with two sales in Maryland. Just like his previous sales of 106.3 WYAY Bolivia NC in September 2023 and 93.9 WGLD-FM Conway/Myrtle Beach SC in January, Clendenin sells Oldies “WHGM Gold” 1330 WHGM Havre de Grace/10.5 W263CQ Chesapeake City MD to former owners Jeff & Christy Androlunis’ Sweet Tea Radio for $333,364.83.

Maryland Media One then sells 107.5 W298CG Bel Air MD to Shamrock Communications for $200,000. That translator has switched to rebroadcasting Shamrock’s Classic Rock “100.7 The Bay” WZBA Westminster.

After shutting five of their stations at the end of 2023 following the foreclosure of their studio building and tower sites, Dave and Linda Miller’s Yaquina Bay Communications has found a buyer for two of them. The former Country “U92” 92.7 KNCU Newport and Classic Rock 96.7 KCRF-FM Lincoln City OR will go to Thomas Hodgins and Christopher Jacky’s Xana Oregon for $115,000. A Time Brokerage Agreement will take effect upon restoration of station operations.

Knight Broadcasting continues its sell-off with the donation of AC “Mix 96.7” KSYV Solvang CA to California Lutheran University. The station will join the “KCLU” Public News/Talk network based at 88.3 KCLU-FM Thousand Oaks and stretching up the Central California coast up to San Luis Obispo.

Townsquare Media sells Classic Country 1060 KFIL Preston MN to non-profit Bluff Country Community Radio for $100,000. The buyer’s website says it is dedicated to preserving the memories, history, and community impact of KFIL. KFIL currently simulcasts 103.1 KFIL-FM Chatfield.

James and Sharon Infager, the owners of “Ray’s Heating, Plumbing & Electric”, are purchasing Bitterroot Communications and their AC 960 KSRA and Country 92.7 KSRA-FM Salmon ID from Emily and Robert Goodrich for $100.

Peter John buys Grey Ghost Broadcasting’s Conservative Talk 1380 KQKD/99.9 K260DG Redfield SD from Ronald & Denise Schacht for $125,000. John is a Los Angeles based music producer. George Kimble served as broker of the deal.

Versailles Community Broadcasting sells Silent 92.5 KWQR Willcox AZ to Shon White’s Apache Leap Media for $30,000. The non-profit is promoting that the station will be relaunched as Bilingual CHR “Hot 92.5” KHTO. Apache Leap also owns similarly formatted “Z89.3” KZAO Ajo AZ, which is simulcast on Audacy’s 101.5 KALV-HD3 Phoenix.

Great Plains Christian Radio sells its CP for 89.9 KJLM Beloit KS to The Praise Network for $1,000.

Translator Sales

Kindred Communications acquires 93.3 W227CI Catlettsburg KY from Radio By Grace for $9400. The translator has rebroadcast the buyer’s “Cat Sports” 1340 WCMI Ashland since 2016.

There’s Hope Radio donates 90.3 W212AC Stuart FL from Moody Bible Institute. W212AC has rebroadcast Moody’s 89.3 WRMB Boynton Beach since its sign-on in 1987.
