Tejano 105.9 KXQT Midland OdessaPermian Basin Broadcasting purchases “Tejano 105.9” KXQT Stanton/Midland from Gerald Benavides and 101.1 K266BT Big Spring TX from Christina Benavides for $330,000. KXQT will join the buyer’s Regional Mexican “La Caliente 101.3” KMMZ Crane as a duo in the Midland/Odessa market.

American General Media sells 840 KJFA Belen/Albuquerque NM to Derek and Sheila Underhill’s KD Radio Inc. for $50,000. KD Radio also owns Classic Country “K-Mine” 980 KMIN Grants and Oldies simulcast 1240 KDSK Los Ranchos de Albuquerque and 92.7 KDSK-FM Grants NM. KJFA currently serves as the originating station for Bilingual Rhythmic “Fuego 102.9” K275AO Albuquerque.

TBLC Media sells Silent 1380 WWNT Winston-Salem NC to Delmarva Educational Association for $15,000. Delmarva Educational Association will convert the station to non-commercial status.

Radio La Raza Inc. acquires 1360 KLYR Clarksdale AR from Ozark Communications for $5000. KLYR currently simulcasts Country 92.7 KDYN-FM Coal Hill.

Acorn Community Enterprises sells to CP for 91.5 KKRW Round Mountain CA to John Jason Bennett’s Citizen Tulsa Inc. for $2400.

Translator Sales

Educational Media Foundation will buy 99.9 W260BG Lexington NC from Davidson County Broadcasting for $125,000. The translator will rebroadcast EMF’s 94.1 WWLV Lexington.

Radio Sharon Foundation buys Radio Catskill’s 94.5 W233AH Monticello NY for $50,000. W233AH rebroadcasts the seller’s 90.5 WJFF Jeffersonville.

Gerald Benavides will buy 102.1 K271BC Burnet TX from Richard Herring for $30,000. K271BC rebroadcasts Bryan King’s 106.5 KAJZ Granite Shoals.
