Aaron Ishmael and Karl Lieber’s Mid-Century Radio will acquire Northeast Digital & Wireless’ Bad Lands Broadcasting Company and its three signals in Rapid City SD.
Mid-Century will purchase Classic Country “True Country 99.5/107.9” KRKI Keystone/KXZT Newell and Classic Hits “Kool 101.9” KFMH Belle Fourche for $75,000. Ishmael, who owns 80% of the buyer, also is a partner in Loud Media Inc. and their stations in Knoxville TN and Albany NY and A&J Radio’s stations in Plattsburgh NY.
After ceasing operations in November, The six stations owned by Robert Delgiorno’s Freed AM Corp. and MLS Broadcasting have been placed in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy liquidation trust led by Roddrick B Newhouse. Newhouse is authorized to take all action necessary to allow for future sale and assignment of the company’s licenses and towers. Delgiorno’s holdings included two Sports talkers in Texarkana in “ESPN 94.1” KTRG Hooks/Texarkana TX and “Fox Sports Texarkana” 1400 KKTK/97.1 K246CR Texarkana TX, Classic Country “Caddo Country 105.3” KNCB-FM Vivian LA, Rock “K104” 1320 KNCB/104.1 K281CY Vivian LA and 95.5 K238BF Atlanta TX, Classic Country “Caddo Country” 670 KHGZ/98.9 K255BH/107.9 K300DJ Glenwood AR, and Conservative Talk/Christian 900 KPYN/103.9 K280GV Atlanta TX.
Hector Guevara Ministry Corp. is purchasing 850 KEYH Houston from Estrella Media for $100,000 and 99.5 K258DI Humble from Aleluya Broadcasting Network for no consideration.
Richard Slone’s Ridgeline Communications acquires Morgan County Industries’ four stations in eastern Kentucky for $365,000. The deal will include Country “Kick 102.9” WLKS-FM West Liberty, AC “B103.7” WCBJ Campton, Variety Hits 106.1 WMOR-FM Morehead, and “Pure Country 106.5” WRLV-FM Salyersville.
Thomas and Marianne Williams’ TMCR Broadcasting LLC will purchase Christian 770 WAIS/103.9 W280FZ Nelsonville and “Wild Country 107.7” WSEO Nelsonville/Athens OH from Nelsonville TV Cable Inc. for $250,000. The deal includes the studio building and AM transmitter site.
Positive Alternative Radio sells the CP for 88.5 WTWK Logan OH to River Radio Ministries for $40,000.
Lee Perryman’s RadioAlabama Foundation acquires Silent 90.9 WFAZ Goodwater AL for $20,000. Perryman also owns Marble City Media and Auburn Networks with their seven stations in Alabama.
40 Below Broadcasting sells Classic Hits “Alaska’s Rewind Radio” 95.1 KNEE Nenana, 96.3 KHRS Healy, and the CP for 93.3 Palmer AK to Voice For Christ Ministries for $6500.
Translator Sales
Roger Bouldin’s Bouldin Radio acquires 99.3 W257AD Skeegs VA from Dirk Hall’s Peggy Sue Broadcasting Corporation for $6,000. The translator currently rebroadcasts the seller’s 100.7 WMJD Grundy.
Langford Broadcast sells Silent 102.3 W272BZ Portage IN to Marion Williams for $18,000. Upon completion of its new CP to relocate to Hobart, W272BZ will rebroadcast Williams’ Oldies 1500 WAKE Valparaiso.
