Station Sales Week of 2/25: Global One Media Acquires Ruby Radio Corporation

Rich Hudson’s Global One Media is acquiring Ken and Alene Sutherland’s Ruby Radio Corporation and it properties in Elko NV for $1 million. Global One Media will purchase Classic Hits “94.5 Kool-FM” KUOL Elko, Hot AC “Mix 96.7” KHIX Carlin, Country “Big Country 103.9” KBGZ Spring Creek, Classic Country “100.5 True Country” K263BD Spring Creek/KBGZ-HD4, Classic Rock “Coyote FM” 101.1 K266AB Elko/KBGZ-HD3, and Conservative Talk “Talk Radio 107.7” K299AN Elko/KBGZ-HD2. Hudson spent over two decades at CBS Radio and Entercom Los Angeles as Production Director from 1998 to 2021 with an on-air career including stints at multiple stations in Denver, KXGL San Diego, and KHTY Santa Barbara.

Cory Condrey’s Condrey Media will purchase Exponent Broadcasting’s Gospel 1120 WXJO/104.5 W283CT Douglasville GA for $300,000. Condrey has operated the station via Time Brokerage Agreement since 2019.

Glory Communications acquires Silent 98.7 W254CE Orangeburg SC from Miller Communications for $10,000. As part of the deal Glory has already filed to relocate W254CE to Saint Matthews SC where it will rebroadcast Gospel 620 WFMV Cayce.
