Brian Johnson’s BMZ Broadcasting purchases 1330 WJNX Fort Pierce FL from Port St. Lucie Broadcasters for $75,000. BMZ owns 106 WJNX-FM (formerly WLMX) Okechobee FL, which is operated by Glades Media and was merged along with 95.1 W236AO Port St. Lucie and WJNX into Regional Mexican “La Ley 106.1/95.1“.

Volodymyr Velyky’s The Great Media Group Inc. will purchase Russian “Slavic Family Radio” 1040 KXPD Tigard/Portland OR from Irina Baranova’s PIN Investments for $1.2 million. A previous sale to Volodymyr Golovan’s Emerald Management Services for $1.5 million was agreed to in October and withdrawn in January.

Chip Miller’s Big Spring TX Media LLC acquires Oldies 1400 KBYG/106.3 K292FE Big Spring and Classic Rock 105.5 KXCS Coahoma TX from Weeks Broadcasting for $144,000. The buyer began operating the stations via a $500 per-month LMA last October.

Richard Dent will transfer 810 WYRE Annapolis MD to ‘Steve Kingston’ Kushner’s Cortona Media for the assumption of liabilities. Kingston has been operating WYRE via LMA for the past several years with the station picking up the AAA “WRNR” IP when his Empire Broadcasting System closed on its sale of 103.1 WRNR-FM Grasonville MD last February. Cortona is in the process of purchasing 99.9 W260BM Annapolis from Hope Christian Church of Marlton NJ.

Call Communications sells its CP for 91.5 KLPS El Paso TX to Relevant Radio for $300,000.
