98.5 The Beach WSBH Satellite Beach MelbourneRoger Holler’s MARC Radio expands to Melbourne FL with the purchase of Classic Hits “98.5 The Beach” WSBH Satellite Beach from WSBH LLC for $3.25 million. MARC Radio owns seven stations in the Gainesville/Ocala market and standalone AMs in Dallas TX and Orlando.

After purchasing Butler County Radio Network’s Full Service Classic Hits 680 WISR/107.5 W298CW, Country 1050 WBUT/97.3 W247DF, and “The Rock Station” 97.7 WLER-FM Butler PA in July for $1.8 million, Frank Iorio’s Pittsburgh Radio Partners is selling the cluster to St. Barnabas Broadcasting for $2.55 million. Iorio previously sold his Conservative Talk 1320 WJAS/99.1 W256DE Pittsburgh to St. Barnabas in 2020.

Jackson County Broadcasting acquires Classic Hits 970 WATH/97.3 K246CE and Hot AC “Power 105.5” WXTQ Athens OH from WATH Inc. for $1,060,000. Jackson County Broadcasting owns four stations in nearby Jackson OH and began operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement on November 15.

Isothermal Broadcasting Company sells Oldies 590 WCAB/100.9 W265DW Rutherfordton NC to Todd Fowler’s Skyline Media of Rutherfordton for $450,000. Fowler also owns 1250 WBRM Marion NC, 93.7 WPGI Georgetown SC, and 97.3 KJMG Bastrop LA.

Edwin Brand’s KCOG Inc. sells Hot AC 1400 KCOG/103.9 K280GY Centerville IA to Honey Creek Broadcasting for $1. Brand owns 34% of the buyer controlling 100% of the voting rights. Honey Creek also owns Country 98.7 KMGO Centerville and Oldies 105.3 KEDB Chariton in South Central Iowa.

Translator Sales

Relevant Radio purchases 103.9 K280FC Honolulu from Hochman Hawaii Two for $550,000. The translator, which currently operates as Alternative “103.9 The X” simulcasting 1370 KXHM Pearl City will rebroadcast the buyer’s Catholic network via an HD subchannel of Hochman’s 101.1 KORL-FM Waianae.

Christopher Johnson buys Silent 95.3 W237FK Opp AL from Brantley Broadcast Associates for $138. The translator will be used to rebroadcast the buyer’s Silent 880 WAMI Opp.
