Kool Hits 105.7 WLGC-FM GreenupTotal Media Group continues its rapid growth in southeastern Ohio and adjoining areas as it purchases Oldies “Kool Hits 105.7” WLGC-FM Greenup KY for $375,000. The company’s Foremost RE LLC will separately purchase the WLGC-FM studio building in Ashland KY for $275,000, while both the buyer and seller will jointly sell its tower site to an unknown buyer for $150,000. WLGC-FM will create a duopoly in the Ashland area with recently acquired 107.1 WIRO-FM Ironton OH and create a cluster in the Portsmouth OH area with Sports 1260 WNXT, AC “Mix 99.3” WNXT-FM, and Classic Rock “105.5 The Breeze” WZZZ.

Keith Murray’s Conway Broadcasting is purchasing Mount Washington Radio Group from the estate of Greg Frizzell for $300,000. Murray, a longtime on-air personality in the state, will acquire AAA 93.5 WMWV Conway, CHR “Magic 104.5” WVMJ Conway, and Soft AC “Easy 95.3” 1340 WBNC Conway/95.3 W237BX North Conway.

Intelli LLC sells Silent 1460 KCLE Burleson and translators 93.1 K226BM Cleburne and 95.7 K239CC Burleson TX to Jacob Wilkins’ Grace Media Partners LLC for $550,000. With the purchase, an immediate Time Brokerage Agreement began with the station running Wilkins Radio Network’s Christian Preaching programming as “The Message“.

University of Central Oklahoma sells 95.9 KCSC-FM Woodward and 91.9 KBCW-FM McAlester OK to The Christian Center Inc. for $200,000. Both stations currently simulcast the seller’s Classical 90.1 KUCO Edmond/Oklahoma City.

Anchored Mission Inc. acquires the CP for 91.5 WWNH Wolfeboro NH from Calvary Wolfeboro for no consideration.

Ave Maria Communications buys Christian 1390 WLCM Holt/Lansing MI from Christian Broadcasting System for $250,000. The deal also gives Ave Maria right of first refusal to acquire the station’s real estate for $200,000.

Eugenio Falcon’s 95.1 Investments LLC sells 95.1 KRGC Rio Grande City TX to Ministering Missions International for $21,000. The buyer began operating KRGC via LMA in June with Christian programming.

The Edward Baker led Positive Alternative Radio will acquire 1040 WSGH Lewisville NC from his Base Communications for $20,000 and an additional donation value of $25,000.

Tim Thomas Broadcasting purchases Classic Country 1400 WGTN/107.5 W298CO and Oldies 1470 WPIF/101.1 W266DG Georgetown SC from Rod Stalvey’s Waccamaw Broadcasting for $350,000.

Translator Sales

Educational Media Foundation buys 94.3 W232AL Pomona NY from Bridgelight LLC for $430,000. W232AL holds a CP to relocate to Fort Lee NJ colocated with the seller’s 103.1 W276AQ where it will cover most of Manhattan, the Bronx and Bergen County NJ while continuing to rebroadcast an HD subchannel of EMF’s 95.5 WPLJ New York.

Cascade Educational Broadcast Service buys 107.1 K296FT West Haven/Portland OR from Metro East Community Media. The translator will continue to rebroadcast the buyer’s Variety “X-Ray FM” 91.1 KXRY Portland as it has since 2014.
