University of Northwestern – St. Paul’s Northwestern Media continues its expansion across the Upper Midwest with the purchase of Bethesda Christian Broadcasting for $249,000.

The deal includes the non-commercial licenses of Christian Preaching 88.3 KLMP Rapid City SD, 90.3 KSLP Fort Pierre SD, and 90.7 KSLS Dickinson ND, the commercial license of Christian AC “Power 107.1” KSLT Spearfish/Rapid City SD and 106.3 K292DN Newcastle WY, and the Hills Alive Christian Music Festival.


Seehafer Broadcasting sells “ESPN 92.3” WOSQ Spencer and Classic Hits 1450 WDLB/98.7 W254CLC Marshfield WI to Central Wisconsin Broadcasting for $250,000. The stations will join a cluster that includes Hot AC 92.7 WPKG, “107.5 The Rock” WCCN-FM, and Farm/Soft AC 1370 WCCN/98.5 W253CN all licensed to Neillsville.

WP Broadcasting sells “Coyote Country 92.7” KRSY-FM La Luz, Sports “103.7 ESPN” KNMZ Alamogordo, and Conservative Talk “Alamo AM” 1230 KRSY Alamogordo with CP for 101.9 K270CS Alamogordo NM to Katlyn and David Grice’s Exciter Media LLC for $24,000.

Totally Amped LLC sells AC “105.7 The Mix” KDXN South Heart/Dickinson ND to William Weston Glass’s Glassworks Broadcasting for $200,000. An LMA of the station will take effect on Monday, November 1.

Neil Chavigny’s The Tropics Inc. acquires 88.7 KBWK Truth or Consequences NM from One Ministries for $8000.

Translator Sales

Jeffrey Sigmon Sr. sells 94.3 W232CI Monroe NC to Shaggers Inc. for $58,000. Shaggers will utilize the translator to rebroadcast their “99.1 The Fun One” WDZD-LP Monroe.
